The attached file is the agenda for the Beginners Fly tying Seminar

which will be held at Jasper Place High School on May 16th

From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm in Room 188

Cost is $5 for members and $30 for non-members :o

(Remember that a membership in NLFT&F is only $20) ;)

The file is in adobe acrobat format

and contains the info on the patterns to be tied.

There will be a limited number of club tools and equipment

supplied for use at the seminar for no charge. :D

If you have your own equipment and tools, bring them. B)

The club will supply the materials you need to tie the flies covered

Assistant tyers are always welcome. At this point about 20 beginners have paid to attend.

I'll be out fishing at Beaumont... as I already know how to tye flies. In fact... I see I must tye some SnowCones now. <_< The side benefit of being off sick all this week from work is that I've almost caught up on my tying.

Anyways, Scratch and I will send you some more photos of fish DipperMan.

I would like to thank all of the instructors and organizers for a really great day of fly tying on Saturday. My father and I both attended and had both a really fun time and learned a lot about the fine art of fly tying. The small group instructors were awesome in helping with my knotted messes...I mean flys, and the video presentation made my efforts at tying one on mostly successful.

I am looking forward to the intermediate seminar (If I can afford the time to attend).

Thanks again.

Steve
