Russell Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Remember the late Dr. Hugh F. Clifford's book "Aquatic Invertebrates of Alberta"? Posted on the internet after his passing, And used by fly fishing people, zoologists, entomologists, limnologists, taxonomists, fisheries types, and skrool teechurs. Why was this book taken off the internet? The book is an Alberta Treasure. I would like to put this book back on the internet. Dr. Clifford was an excellent researcher and educator from the U of A. If anyone has information why the book was removed, and any ideas how to restore it's presence please post a reply. Otherwise, it is 70 dollars at the U of A Bookstore. I imagine that might have something to do with the situation. Quote
PeterSL Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 No idea why. Have seen it for sale on Amazon at $425, you can read an online copy on Open Library for a donation and apparently there's one copy for loan through the Alberta public library TRAC system. Would have thought the publisher, UofA press, would have had an answer. Quote
