JeffW
Hi all, Jeff Wilson here, relatively new to the group, I met those of you who were at the Muir and Hasse lake clean ups this season. So, I am coming up in one full fly-fishing season under my belt and as things freeze up am looking to get into tying. I will stop by the Wednesday night meetings when my schedule does not conflict, but in the meantime is it worth it for me to buy a tying kit of any particular brand, etc. Or am I better off buying equipment and supplies individually? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jeff
Michael Dell
Jeff, I started with a tying kit but found I didn't use most of the included materials. I think it's better to buy a vise and tools separately, and then buy materials for the flies you wish to tie. Michael
