You guys are car pooling? How much room do you have? If I don't have to drive (I work 'til 5am), I'd be interested. Let me know.

Cheers

No prob. usually takes me a couple of days to recover from a long day like that on a Sunday, sort of like a bad hangover

:fishing: Rich was King for the day ,he was the fish master with a brown and a couple of rainbows . He was using a Wired San Jaun Worm . <_ src="http://nlft.org/forum/uploads/emoticons/default_clap.gif" alt="">:fishing::thumbup:

Paul came in a second with two quick rainbows on our way back to the van, using a black wolley bugger with a flashy butt.:fishing::thumbup:

Vince was using streamers and caught a 16" rainbow I think there were witnesses ;) using a bow river muddler.

AND I WAS SKUNKED :(:dr: I was showin the guys where the fish were , you know the guide. Not sure what photos were taken , Paul had a BEAUT of a Bow on 20"+, but just before I was coming to snap a shot he rolled and got away. It's true!! :( . We did our fishin down from Police Man's flat  . The day was Great and the weather cooperated . Ya the company was ok.

Have to check it out again and again and again :fishing::thumbup::clap:

Good post Dan

It was a rainbow and a brown that was caught and the one that got away :( was a brown as well. But you know what, it really doesnt matter, it was fun being on the water with fellow fishers. :kicks:

The timing was perfect, drove all the way to Calgary just to get a ralphie :box::beer::box: . The end to a perfect day of :fishing: .

Dan somehow lost his pink thingie......(aka hot pants)? He doesnt know when.

A big honkin san juan worm was the answer today. Simple little(big) hook wrapped with nothing but red wire. I had success with the obpt nymph and the crystal bugger. Tries numerous other patterns as well, but no luck. It was fun experimenting.

Thanks Vince, Rick and Dan for a great day on the water.

Dan, Rick and Paul

Had a great day on the water guys - good fishing, good buddies, lots of laughs and a good time on the river. Fishing the Bow was a hoot and catching a Bow Bow on a Bow Bugger just made my day.

Paul, I told you that big uguly bugger you found a while ago was going to be a winner and yes I was there to see the big Brown before you allowed him a long line release.

Guys, I had a great time - thanks for the company. Thanks for driving Dan.

Lets not forget what we talked about on the drive home...next year - small water for a few days...maybe on Vince Creek.

Glad you Guys had a great day. just a comment on the San Jaun worm my buddy a couple of years ago used a size 6 3x long hook wrap with nothing other that copper wire and red paint head and he just killed the rainbows that day. He must of caught 6 or 7 16 to 23 inches on that thing. So in can see your San Jaun working. We were fishing the same area.

Tight Lines Always
