kemo99 Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 Grayling Blitz - Freeman River July 20 We've been in contact with fisheries biologists at AEP, and are excited to confirm our Grayling Blitz on July 20. The objective is to coordinate a group of anglers to collect data about fish population (Grayling, Athabasca Rainbows, Whitefish, etc) and habitat on the Freeman River and tributaries. We'll supply maps and target sites as well as data collection forms. A copy of the data collection form is posted on our web site - it's pretty straight forward and there will be minimal fish handling. The plan is to meet at a central spot near Edmonton (Tim Hortons) and break up into groups of 2-3. Instructions, maps, and data collection sheets will be distributed as well as review of safety plan. Fuel cards will be available for drivers for this event. Send an email to Grayling@nlft.org to register for this event. Some folks may choose to camp as well. Let us know in your email if you are interested in camping and we'll help coordinate. If you are fishing later in the season, please fill out a form for inclusion in the analysis. Quote
