Lake Info And Maps

Don Andersen

Recommended Posts

Hi Don,

I think you are requesting a change on MWA-provided bathymetric maps and not those presented in my “Trout Lakes of Northern Alberta” https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mhdk6iuotzvifhw/AADmDNsCZNq9ly9s5WlI6n18a?dl=0

I have compiled this album to provide on one sheet:-

1) Bathymetric data from multiple sources

2) GPS Location and mileage to closest centre

3) Directions to the lake

4) Camping and Reservation information

5) Trout stocking in the last three years

6) Recommended flies

7) Fishing regulations

8) Lake data viz. Access, ‘kill potential, etc, etc.

9) Photos taken at the lakes

The alternate to “single sheet” is to visit 10+ websites and the “single sheets” can be saved to your computer or printed on a breast-pocket card, saving cell-phones or tablets from getting wet.

Don, I have always been appreciative of all of your efforts in support of angling!

My next major update is scheduled for late October when the 2018 stockings are finished and I’m still requesting photos, from fellow trout lake anglers, taken at the 72 lakes covered in my presentation. May I please hear from you?

Dropbox is free. All you need to do is click on the link and you are into the album of 72 lake files and the intro files covering regulations and camping data etc.

I have put four albums onto Dropbox, here are the links:-

You do not need to load Dropbox to link up and view an album. Dropbox is ideal for transmitting large numbers of high-intensity photographs. It is cloud-based, allows transfer and printing of an individual file. Since the format is JPG as long as you have Media Player or the like, you're ready to go.
