Mar 28 - Scenic New Zealand As many of you may know, our past vice president, Alex Molenkamp and her husband, Mike, have just spent a few weeks touring and fishing in New Zealand. They've agreed to share some of their experiences and photographs from that trip. Bring a friend or partner to this one if you can. You may decide to book a trip after you've heard from them! UNFORTUNATELY, THIS PRESENTATION HAS HAD TO BE POSTPONED UNTIL MAY.TYING AND SOCIALIZING INSTEAD FOR THIS EVENING Apr 4 - Business Meeting and a Tying Session As a result of the Boat Show there may be one or two newcomers at the meeting hoping to learn a thing or two about flyfishing or how to tie a fly so hopefully a few members will be willing to help out Apr 11 - Spring SALE!! Another chance to free up some space on your tying bench or in your cupboards by selling the flies, tying and fishing materials and equipment you no longer need. Or just bring cash and buy some of the bargains that are sure to be available. So start sorting out and pricing stuff now for sale, swap or donation. The club will also have some TUC merchandise for sale. Members of the public will be invited so come early for the best deals. Apr 18 - Mid-Life Flysis We've invited Kirby Coderre from Okotoks to share some of his knowledge and experience in fishing the streams of southern Alberta and some of the flies that he has found to be most effective. He'll also be tying a couple of his favourite patterns. Kirby is a teacher, coach, avid flyfisher and outdoorsman. He has a number of excellent YouTube videos with some great photography.
