piper Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Hi All Mike Montieth directed me to this forum after i sent him an email regarding the NLFTF. I would like to become a member of the Northern Lights Fly Tyers and Fishers club. I'm hoping someone can help me here. Unfortunately at this time my wed nights are booked (when i'm not working nights that is) but i see you do meet 2 times a month for ...ahem beer and wings complete with guest speakers and i'm sure there is a wealth of info one could learn even at those meetings. I think you guys are doing a great job with the Muir lake project and minimally i would be happy to join the group if only to pitch physically in any of the projects that are ongoing or upcoming. I did get a chance to talk to one of the members of the group last time i was at Muir lake but unfortunately i didnt get his name. Anyway if someone might be able to suggest how i might obtain a membership it would be greatly appreciated Quote
DennisS Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Hi Piper. Nice to hear from you. As mention our meeting are Wed nights. The Flys & Beer will be suspend temperaraly until the new yr. Watch this board for start up time. As of getting a members ship best would be come out to a meeting. As you stated you have trouble getting out on Wed. The other Way would give me a email and then I could give you a number to call or contact. (email address dsouth@telusplanet.net) The other alternative would be purchase it at the Sportman show in Mar Or the Outdoor show put on by the Fishin Hole. If you can make it let them know you will be coming down. I'm sure none of us would mind a good conversation and maybe we could arrange getting you a membership as well. Low blow buddy lol For those that have already drawn a conclusion, might I add that it was Ranger Bob and Scratch that were ice fishing ::ice fish:: with worms.
