RangerBob
TF was telling me about a photo posted someplace on Alberta Flyfish forum showing a some moose strung up in a power line. Haven't checked it out yet.. but I mentioned I had a few shots that might top that one... but dang.. a live moose in a power line... that's priceless. Perhaps you can post the photo here TF? pacres
So, have you ever found yourself up a pole while you're in rut? Too bad he had to survive for 2 weeks before they noticed him. Poor bugger.

Poor bugger.Have I ever found myself a "pole" during the rut? All the time! (Symbol Crash.. ba dum dum). Now don't be giving any ammo for PETA mmm-kayh.... the moose was NOT alive up the pole for two weeks (impossible -- and if so then a Guiness Record). The incident happened only two weeks ago... the moose was alive though when they found it.. and right before they blasted it.. cut the horns.. split the meat... never to be seen again. "They figured it out right away," he said. "It was just kind of hard to pull and it didn't feel right to them, so they went out and investigated." Tys Flies
LMAO Told ya RB it was funny. Man, that first moose is absolutely huge, wouldn't want to piss it off (if it were still alive). On a side note (similar to RB), Ive found myself in front of a pole during rut, with a silly female tangeld around it... I wonder how long we should leave her up there...
