PeterSL Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Nick Sliwkanich has agreed to give up 15 mins of his time to Marcel Marcullo, AEP Fisheries Biologist for the Athabasca Region. Marcel is looking for feedback from the club on two regulation changes that he is proposing: one regarding more protection for the tiger trout in Chain Lakes and the other changing Dolberg to a Quality Fishery. He will also be getting input from other affected groups but there is some urgency to this as proposed reg changes have to be presented to Fisheries Management by January.Peter Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dave robinson Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 (edited) Both proposals sounds good to me, particularly the Dolberg one. In the past that lake has produced very large fish, but the increase in the bucket brigade, whove been known to show up with several kids and take their limits in addition to their own has degraded the fishery.
