PeterSL
As in years past some club members are helping out at the ACA's "Kids Can Catch" events in June in Fort Saskatchewan and in Beaumont. We give out bobbers and help the kids tie on flies, cast it out etc. We have plenty of bobbers but we need flies - at least a hundred. So maybe now would be a good time to 'Spring Clean Your Fly Boxes'. We're hoping that you can donate a few woolly buggers, weighted nymphs, prince nymphs, 52 buicks, etc., about size 10 or 12, the type of fly that you might use under a bobber to catch small rainbows. Even if you've only got a few to spare and can get them to us at a meeting or via a club member by June, they would be much appreciated by the volunteers and the kids who will use them.
