Does anyone know the status of the old Aurora Lakes Resort, run by Sheridan Abbott? I was told that he let the place go due to new governmental requirements and increased taxes.

Yes Aurora has been bulldozed to the ground. I fished Aurora, every year for 50+ years. My group moved to Rock Island Fishing Camp (20 km away from Aurora) and are very happy with the fishing and the accommodations.
