Malorie
Hi! I was referred to your group as I am looking for someone that could make flies with Mangalitsa pigs hair. It is a rare breed originally from the Austro-Hungarian empire. We raise them about 1 hour from Edmonton and have learned their hair has great charactheristics for flies. Let me know if any of you is interested or if you know someone that would be. Thank you!
DennisS
Hello Malorie I could be interested. Is there any way you could take a picture of the hair. I have used pigs wool just wondering if this is the same. Tight Lines Always Dennis S
Malorie
I can take a picture. Can I post it here? If not what's the best way to share it? They have 2 different types of hair. One is really coarse and straight, the other a bit finer and more "woolly". Mostly black, coarse hair from belly is white. Older hair bleached by sun is kind of red/orange.
