PeterSL 183
Latest from Fish and Wildlife: Tiger trout – a sterile hybrid (brown trout x brook trout), has been approved for inclusion in Alberta’s trout stocking program. The intent of stocking tiger trout in Alberta waters is to provide a unique recreational opportunity for anglers. A plan to stock tiger trout and evaluate results has been developed. In support of this plan, nine lakes are being assessed as potential waters for the experimental stocking of tiger trout. Feedback from the angling community is being sought to assist with finalizing stocking plans. You are invited to take a survey on one or more of the nine lakes being evaluated for potential tiger trout stocking at http://aep.alberta.ca/about-us/surveys.aspx?__hstc=22979940.8df72536bdab26d3dee8cb6a6f24cd4c.1437154703384.1438289882350.1438347451377.7&__hssc=22979940.2.1438347451377&__hsfp=3706892406. The survey will close on August 28, 2015. Peter
