The Northern Lights/TU Edmonton annual Fly Fishing Seminar will be held on January 17th & 18th and features Ed Engle and Phil Rowley. This two day information-packed event will be held at Grant MacEwan University, 104 Ave and 107 St, Edmonton, Room 6-212. The seminar is subsidized by NLFT/TU Edmonton so tickets are only $65.00 and cover both days. They are available at Club meetings (every Weds evening at Queen Mary Park Hall) and on line - tickets@nlft.org
Ed Engle is a well-known author and presenter. His sessions will focus mainly on stream fishing - what to do when your favourite flies aren't working, tying and fishing small flies, fishing tailwaters, and more. He will alternate hourly sessions on both days with Phil Rowley, stillwater fishing expert and author. Phil has developed some interesting new presentation material for this seminar that applies to our local lakes.
There will also be a bucket raffle at the event with some great fishing gear as prizes as well as door prizes and the opportunity to win one of Don Andersen's bamboo flyrods.
It's a public event to which all are welcome.
Detailed event program will be posted soon.
