Eelpout
Hi, I guess i became a forum member here a long time ago, but this is my first post. I have an old glass rod that belonged to my dad (I guess it still does belong to him). It is from the 70s' and is an inexpensive unmarked 6/7wt or about that. More importantly, I learn to fly fish on it in the 90's when I was just a tyke and now the glue covering the wraps is very brittle and I figure it is time for some preventative measures. Is there anyone on the forum here who either builds rods for profit, or for their own use that is willing to strip the guides and re-wrap/glue them? And if not, can anyone suggest a provincially local rod builder who could/would do that? Thanks
