Chadillac Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Nice pictures. The icing up happens quite often with smaller aerators. There is an aerator on a pond near Peace River that, quite frequently, ices over entirely during a cold snap. There were times were it was just like somebody built a little igloo and set it over the aerator. Once it warmed up, the igloo would melt in the circulation.
