Doc
Hey all. I've decided on two things. #1) I will be moving Flies 'N' Beer permanatly to the 2nd Monday of the month. There are too many holidays on the 1st Monday of every month. So the next Flies 'N' Beer will be on September 13th. #2) I will be shutting down Flies 'N' Beer for the winter and starting it up again in the Spring. The last Flies 'N' Beer will be Monday October 18th. As a finally, Phil Rowley will be at Flies 'N' Beer on Monday October 18th presenting us with a tying demonstration featuring his "Stillwater" tying materials and kicking off his new position as the new Superfly rep here in Edmonton. There will be no charge for this presentation but I will be accepting donations for the Muir Lake project to help with energy cost for the lake aeration. All are welcome 18 years of age and older. I would like some help from some of the members with cameras/equipment and setup. If you can help please e-mail me at docc@shaw.ca Cheers!
Michael Dell
Doc, Getting Phil Rowley out is a great idea. I've seen him tie before. This will be good. Take care. Michael

Doc
Thanks guys. It should be a good presentation. For those that are not familar with Phil, he's known as the other half of the Brian Chan team and you can view his web site here... Fly Craft Angling. You can also do a search for his name on Google and read the many articles he has wrtitten available on many fly-fishing web sites. Cheers! Doc
That would be awesome. Also maybe a couple more tv's and help hooking everything up to the system I already have in the club. Please remember, I have never held one of these before and I've never been to a club meeting where you have had other presenters doing a tying demo so any help with anything I may not be thinking of would be great. That's a long run-on sentance, hope it makes sense. Cheers!

Flies 'N' Beer takes place at Santannas Nite Club (17930-Stony Plain Rd). I hope we get lots of folks out for it. Flies 'N' Beer will resume again in the spring of 2005. DennisS
Doc if you need another hand let me know. Sorry for sitting on the line but you had started out with Phil coming on Oct 11 which would have been Thanksgiving and I know my bum would be grass if I wasn't home. Let me know what you need me to do. Tight Lines Always Dennis S NLFT&F

Doc
Yah, we're set for the 18th. I have to apologise to Michael Dell though as this is the same date as the first TU meeting. Unfortunatly this is the only day that worked with Phil as he is very busy (Moving to Sherwood Park soon, TV shows, etc...). Anyway. Sorry Michael. If there is anything I can do let me know.
