Scratch
Friend of a friend relayed this fish-tale. Great stuff. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin ******* [mailto:*******@shaw.ca] Sent: August 11, 2004 11:17 AM To: Taylor, Lance (Ranger-Bob) Subject: no fish, but i caught this!! Lance, this was hilarious. Me and my buddy Troy were fishing Belanger Lake near Kamloops and after not having a bite for several hours he yells, "Kevin, check your line!" At first I thought a dragonfly was having a bath near my fly, but upon reeling it in to investigate, the dragonfly took flight trying to escape. He had went for my fly and got tangled up in the line and couldn't get away! After reeling it in, I was able to untangle him. He sat and rested on my float tube for several minutes then he flew away. Last year Troy caught a loon, this year I caught a dragonfly! I have a neat video of this as well, I'll send it later. Kevin

KevinI should have tried to pass that video off as a new generation of fly pattern. I bet that would have caused a bit of excitement among the fly tyers!
