I know every year there is a Little Smokey conclave. When is it this year and for how many days and what days?

Cheers!

Morning Doc the Grayling dates are Sept 18, 19 :clap: some to go earlier myself included I usually go the Thr Fri Sat & Sun.:clap: Fish until you drop. Great time had by all. :drinked::drinked: I sure hope this rain lets up or the river will be higher than normal this yr. I already have most of the flies tied for that outing :kicks::dr: . Hope to see you there this yr. Lots of fish caught most yrs.:clap:

Terry looks like I volunteer to do a Little Smokey talk on the 15th of Sept. It will be a bit of a rush as my buddy is coming down from Calgary to go to the Little Smokey. Flies of choice size 16 Griffth Knat, then my little llama leech red bead head, then likely #16 adams. I have a new one to try this yr but I think I will leave that one a secret. I will periodically use a SA hopper or Chrynoble ant (spelling) most of your standard nymphs will work. Remeber theres big bulls something big ugly and lots of motion. I us a bastard Kiwi muddler white(all white) I use llama for the head instead of deer hair. (hate deer hair) If I had one fly to take I would pick the Griffth Knat.

Hope this helps.

Hola

I am doing everything I can to make it to the Smokey as it sounds like a lot of fun. Could someone post directions or a map to where ya all will be pitchin your shanties?

Should a person bring a bunch of cut ends to burn or is fire wood available?

THX Jim
