A Class Of Fun Tying

The Lamont Fish and Game Association had a great day with there children in a flytying class. There where 12 young people between the ages of 10 and 14. All tied successfully a wet fly a dry fly and then they had a free tie at the end. We should them how to start a fly with standard threading procedure and then how to finish a fly with a whip finisher. It was explained to them that everything in between the standard threading procedure and the whip finish knot is pure imagination. All of them felt very comfortable in knowing there is no right or wrong way of presenting your imagination. This was great fun and very educational for all that attended. A special thanks to Snowwolf for helping out.
