Paulf Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 ...well...we fished several lakes and pits and also hit the Blackstone, we were thinking of hitting the Brazeau river, but just simply ran out of time...we original were going to fish DC17 at Dismal creek, but due to the abundant signs of bear scat and prints, we decided to err on the side of caution and took the safe approach and did't push our luck... ...I will start first with a few pics from the Blackstone river...enjoy... ...here's Johnny...fishing a very nice run... Paulf Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 ...and now we see Danny...prepping that perfect fly... Quote
Paulf Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 ...this looks like skinny water...but it is deeper than it looks...a nice looking spot for holding fish...the fish didn't like anything that we offered though... 1 Quote
Paulf Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 ...Dan had one rise for his fly in this run, then it must have run off...wasn't interested in anything after the first take... Quote
Paulf Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 ...this is what the start of the run looked like... Quote

Michael Dell Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Paul, You should have seen some trout or at least whitefish. I think I know that stretch, at least it looks familiar to me. But continue your story. Michael Quote
