Muir Aeration Sponsor

Recommended Posts

The funding to pay the electricity costs for running the aerators at Muir (typically just over $2000 a year) has been generously provided by TranaAlta for the past 3 years. Their commitment finished this year. TransAlta does not wish to enter into another long term agreement but thankfully is willing to give us (that's FESA, the volunteer group that established and runs the fishery at Muir) one more contribution of $2000 to see us through this coming winter and to allow us time to find another sponsor.

FESA will start looking straight away. However, if you or the company you work for or have some connection with might be willing to enter into an agreement with us to fund the continued operation of the Muir Lake Fishery, please let us know. In return we can offer wide public acknowledgement of the contribution and the gratitude of those of us who fish the lake and believe in the value of quality fisheries.
