kemo99 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Several crews were out this past weekend installing the HOBO temperature probes. A total of 26 probes were deployed in 14 different rivers and streams. These probes record water temperatures through the summer and the data will be downloaded and analyzed in the fall. The water looks great – lots of people are even more anxious to start angling! Our official kick-off meeting will be on Wednesday evening, June 20 at the Golder office in the west end. We are working around some vacation times and the move of the Golder office to a new location. We will confirm the exact location and time closer to the meeting date. If the 20th does not work for you, please give me some alternate dates and we will try to schedule a second session. At the meeting, we will go over the instructions, assign field kits, assign partners, and distribute maps. We have some new mapping software, and based on my experience they are more accurate and we will be able to assign easier access points. In the meantime, stock up on your flies for Grayling and mark June 20 on your calendar. Quote
