Guest ArticWolf
Do you need a special license to keep wolves as pets? No junior, in the course of 25-30 years of having 5 other wolves as my companions, the answer is no..they are not by dog standards a 'pet', for they are highly intelligent far greater than a dog...each of my wolves were licensed as hybrids, because the provinces I've lived in required a license..but other than that ..no..even though my wolves were drug trained and security trained with the exception of my last wolf Nantuc...she will be before she reaches full maturity...in two years...she just turn two plus... Guest ArticWolf
Last night we had a visitor come to see the pups and of course Nantuc...It was Kaos the father of the pups..boy that was something to watch. I've never was in that position before where after the birth, both parents were put together..there was always a bit of..'what's going to happen' ...actually the greeting that Nantuc displayed when she saw him took any and all fear out of the equation. She was ..yep..over the moon to see him, and so was he to her..but when the little pups were brought out to him that was the moment of truth...the little pups were a bit stand offish to see this huge hunk of a wolf standing on the other side of a barrier. After about 5 minutes or so, I allowed Koas to come into my home..the greeting was different than what I was expecting and here are 3 pics of my Nantuc with Kaos... SnoWolf
They are awesome. I love dogs and have always had a fascination with wolves. I would relish a chance to meet you and your friends.
