Keith and I went out on Sat and did a portion of section 6 didn't do as much as we thought. A large part of it was fozen. It sure was interesting and had a chance to see some very nice water. Raven chanced size considerably from where beaver creek comes in. It was mostly frozen upstream from Beaver. The river really switch backs on itself. We thought we had done miles but we only manage to get about a 3rd of it done.

It was a very nice day to be out. Lots of fresh air. didn't see much in the lines of Redds. I found most of the section we saw was sandy very little gravel. 2 redd and a couple of possibles.

We may try on Wed to do more Keith is checking to see with the organizer if thats what they want.

Good photos and useful in educating those who do not know what a Redd looks like.

As of to-day, November 18th, 2009 the project has come to an end for this year. From all reports, the river has iced over, which makes the task a little difficult. Thanks to all of the volunteers who participated, and those of you who tried to participate. Next year, only earlier.

Thanks again.
