dipperdan
We were camping out at Fairfax lake this weekend. A young couple, from Edmonton , with their dog were camped next to us. They informed us that a bear had attacked their tent on a previous trip up north. The next morning we wake up and were not happy to see food cans , foil from supper, on the picnic table , left over night, during the day they leave food on the picnic table ( Cookies and Milk) ..... WE WERE TAUGHT TO LEAVE THE CAMP CLEANER THEN YOU FOUND IT. SO DON'T BLAME THE BEARS FOR LOOKING FOR FOOD, IN YOUR TENT!!! They leave the next morning , dog poo and garbage from their dog chewing on stuff at the campsite. NOT VERY IMPRESSED , I HOPE THIS FELLOW READS THIS POST, YOU YOUNG FOLKS ARE ONLY GOING TO RUIN THE OUTDOORS FOR YOURSELF. FORTUNATELY, US OLDER FOLKS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE GOOD TIMES WHEN IT DIDN'T COST TO CAMP , LET ALONE PAY FOR FIREWOOD . WHEN WILL YOU KIDS WAKE UP!!!!! milelongleblanc
Maybe I'm just a punitive kind of guy, but did you get their license plate? I'd at least try to report them, though maybe that's pointless. Rick
