dave robinson
If you are only coming to one meeting this month, best make it this one. Floating Lines for Still Waters Speaker: Phil Rowley Comment: Phil is a well known local fishing writer and guide. His presentations are always topical, clear and well done. We even get to poke a little fun at him from time to time. This time Phil will cover the how, what and why of floating lines for still waters. He’ll talk about leader construction, knots, dropper set-ups (including “tell-tale” dropper and “sliding dropper” techniques). He’ll also discuss retrieves and when to use floating lines and long leaders. As a bonus, he’ll show us a DVD of short bloopers they put together from the New Fly Fisher. Let’s make this meeting a full house!

JustinDavis
I really wish I could have been there. But I have been having the darndest time getting out on Wednesday nights. How about we change it to Thursdays??? (jokes) I really wanted to see Phil's presentation, especially because I suck at stillwater fishing. milelongleblanc
Life's about priorities Justin. Considering the flies you tie, I'd say you qualify as an avid tyer; what's so important that it keeps you away? Rick
JustinDavis
My wife has been taking an adult gymnastics class for about a year now, and this fall they all of a sudden decided to move it to Wednesday nights, and as it costs so much, if we can;'t find a babysitter, guess who loses out?
