hey guys!!!!!!

wondering if there's any advice to be had...

i'm looking for a brookie lake within 2 hrs of e-town.

fall's supposed to be the hot time for 'em....i know of a few eastern slopes lakes and rivers but i'm looking for something closer that's doable in a day trip...

you can p.m. me if you don't want it publicized!! ;)

i know there are very few good brookie lakes in alberta so i understand if i get no answer.

thanks in advance and cheers, gw

I know a couple but they are beyond the 2hr. drive, you may want to check the stocking reports which may help to find that "secret" brookie hole (then tell me about it)!!!.

Not sure but there are a couple in the Edson area and in the Whitecourt area. That would be just about the 2hr drive area. Also there was brookies & rainbows in Chickoo just north & west of stoney plain.

Yes it was an interesting meeting with the Tripliod man. It seems that the Trips are in rainbows brookies and browns and he said the for the last several yrs all brookies stocked have been Tripliods.

I also thought Tripliods were Rainbows guess not.
