Fwding an email I got from TUC. I thought the inter-club BBQ deal was announced to be on May 16 (Sunday). Can someone confirm this for me?

Subject: Muir Lake Grand Opening

You are invited to the official grand opening of Muir Lake on Friday

May 14 at 2 pm. There will be greetings from Hon. Stan Woloshyn, MLA

Stony Plain and Parkland County Mayor, Elsie Kinsey.

The Education Centre will be unveiled, and we will celebrate the first 4

inductees to the Walk of Fame honouring Albertans who have contributed to

the Fisheries Resources.

If you cannot come to the official opening on Friday there will be a

less formal opening on Saturday at noon after which we will all go

fishing.

Muir Lake is a project of the Edmonton Trout Club, Trout Unlimited

Canada Edmonton Chapter, Northern Lights Fly Tyers and Fishers, and

Edmonton Old Timers Fishing Club operating under the umbrella of the

Fisheries Enhancement Society of Alberta in partnership with Parkland

County, Fisheries Management Division of Alberta Sustainable

Resources, and the Alberta Conservation Association.

Directions to Muir Lake from Edmonton.

Go west on Highway 16X (Yellowhead Trail)

Turn north on Campsite Road (just beyond the overpass under

construction) Drive north for 6.5 km. Turn west on TWP Road 540

Muir Lake is approximately 1.3 km, on the left side of the road just before

the road curves north.
