RangerBob
Good to see these submarines can still be found swimming around in our local waters. http://lance-taylor.net/fiftynorth.ca/?p=46 PS - Vince, the trick we figured out is to use really large nymphs. Really large.
agrombacher
Hey, That was only one of the three sturgeons hooked that day. I was busy getting rich - gold and garnets! Cheers, Alberta Al

weedy1
Of the Sturgeon you guys have seen so far have there been any in the under 50cm range? I'm curious to know how much reproduction is taking place.

I'm curious to know how much reproduction is taking place. We seen 9 landed in the last week.. all over 34" and largest about 40". Nothing in the 19" range... and only one fish was tagged. If I was F&W.. I know where where they should set up a tagging program. Anyways, I think Scratch reported that tag from a fellow anglers catch today.. be neat to find out when where and and how big it was when done. PS - If you haven't tagged into a Sturgeon on the Mighty Saskatchewan... uhh.. we can ONLY highly recommend it. Beat my trip to the island for Salmon all to heck!!
