Terry H
Hey DD, nice pictures -- thanks for posting. Dennis, you definitely are a fashion statement. I won't get into what the "statement" is saying to us . Terry
DennisS
My Daughters have always told me I wasn't too colour cordinated but who cares as long as I was catching fish and nice & cool with the heat. All kidding aside it was a fantastic time and fantastic place and fantastic people to fish with. Will be there again in 3weeks. Will be calling you Terry for a day at least of fishing. vince
Dennis Sure sounds like you guys had a great time and yes, who cares about fashion while on the stream. Wait a minute, I remember reading an article in a well respected mag that stated a cutty or a bow (but not a bull) would be more willing to take a fly if the fisherman was indeed decked out in the latest garb. Now here comes the question.....where is the picture of the 30 inch bull? Vince
dave robinson
Looks like the clave was a great time. Sorry I missed it, I just returned from a 10 day trip to Victoria. 2800 km in only 4 travel days. Whew, too much driving. Unfortunately no fishing on the trip. it was all visiting with relatives Happy 80th Birthday time for father in law and visits with cousins in Vancouver I haven't seen for several years On the way back I stopped near Edson to have a look at a certain little creek The water levels look very good. Anybody interested in a one day trip out there?
DennisS
Vince I have a great photographic memory. Camara was in the truck with Brenda. We have since discuss the possibilities of purchasing a pentex carrying camara just for that purpose. All I can say is he was huge and he put up a real scrap. it took over 10 min. to land him. vince
Dennis Not sure about the photographic memory part but I'm sure the memory of landing that big boy will be implanted for future reference. Good job....too bad you didn't have a camera. Dennis, my camera (Pentax Optio 33 WR) is great, when it works. Every now and then it decides not to turn on until I press the on/off switch about a dozen times so I am also looking at picking up a new waterproof unit. I may decide to sell the unit though before I spend the big bucks on a new one. Talk soon Vince

Also thanks on the tip of using nymphs as 90 % of the cutts caught were on either the xrated( my cats fur(whoop whoop fur) which is identical to hears ear and rubber legs madam x style) or a prince nymph I will take a picture of the xrated and post. looks very nice. SnoWolf
That was FANTASTIC. Thx Jim. We will be going back for sure. Amazingly enough a lot of DipperDans pics look like mine so when I get done sorting them I will see if I can post any yet. Thanks for showing me those flies Terry. They where definatly the ticket for us. All of the ones we caught where on dry flies.. The first 4 days of or trip where spent in Cowgary. We went to the zoo(7.5 hrs) and to the stampede as well (10.5hrs). We went on every ride except 2 at least 4 times. I'm sure that I walked more in those 2 days than I have in the last year. We set up at Dutch Creek and ate ,fished, and slept for 4 days. It was incredible. I highly recomend a trail ride on the ponies just down the road. The scenery is awsome. I could go on and on but aperantly they want me to get back to work.
