dave robinson
I just put the May newsletter to bed! I'll be e-mailing it to the head webedtoes (webmeister) today, so it should be posted to the web page pretty quick. I will have a few copies at the meeting on Wednesday for those not in the electronic world. Enjoy
dave robinson
I see the newsletter is already up. That took about 15 minutes. Awsome service dude. And to RB, I'm saving the balckmail for the proper occasion.
pacres
15 Minutes! I'll have to talk to him about providing that kind of service level. You might get used to it and then.... JK That's great that we can get the newletters up quickly and without alot of fuss. Scratch did a fine job of creating the newsletter page as well. Scratch
What?! That's not exemplary service... It's just a nerd who wanted to update the events calendar and needed the new newsletter in hand to do it.

Either that or balkmail is blackmail that one, like a baseball pitcher, fakes the delivery of in order to get the recipient of the pitch to swing wildly
dave robinson
If you want past newsletters, I have eveything from September 2001. Until November 2002 they are in Word format. After that they are all in PDF. As to archive, I don't care where they are stored, as long as they don't require another ID and password. I have anouight trouble keeping track of the 47 I already have.
Scratch
Not to worry about converting folks - no point. Will put up the content I got from Lance - and we'll be done with it..
dave robinson
Here we go again: Last time I tried this post the system crashed Hope it wasn't something I did. I will be bringing copies of the newsletter to the meeting for the electronically shallenged. Almost wasn't able to as some idiot at Staples somehow managed to lose my order overnight. Good thing I had a backup copy in the car today. I also had a question on how to attach images to the post . I seem to be able to copy and paste text from Word but not images. Can't copy and paste or drag and drop from image applications either. And hitting the IMG button asks for a url. What's that about?

Alas the system is working properly. You can not copy paste or drag images. You have 2 options with images. 1. Save an image to your hard drive, and when you post, you can select the attach image at the bottom of the reply. Note not all forums have this currentlty enabled. you should be able to browse to the location you saved the image and upload it. it will appear as a thumbnail of the original with the option to "click to enlarge" 2. If you have webspace somewhere, you can "hot link" images. This is what ranger bob does. These images will not show up as thumbnails. Hope that helps you out Dave. There is talk of a demo.... soon
