vince
DipperDan Seems like I have been living there eh...I can only dream of that right now. I've got the wife thinking more and more about small town living...as long as there is an indoor pool in town I may have a shot of moving down to The Promised Land. The move might not happen right away but I do think I've got Bev into perhaps spending the summer there next year. Something to think about. No Dan, I won't be heading down to the Klave...been away far to often so I need to hang around town for a while. Have lots of fun while your there and catch a few for me. DennisS
First off a big thanks to Jim Fox and organizing this event. A great time was had by all. I don't think anyone was disappionted. The pot luck was fantastic. Jim make a whale of a Chili Irene(Dan's wife made a saugage & Rice dish that was great. Ross cooked up a batch of lamb chops(Alberta) that were to die for. Now to some of the story telling. As Vince said this is Gods country. Fantastic people. Met I hope new friends. For me the fishing was great I caught my biggest bull trout 30in. That was on the Old Man. I also manage to catch my biggest Cutt. 20in. and caught 3 more that went 18in or better. All the cutts were caught using my 3weight. Jim(SnoWolf) was there along with his kids and they all had a great time fishing and seeing the country. A great time was had by all and Brenda and I will be going again. Again Jim thanks for the great time and say hi to your daughter for us. Just a note if you ever have the chance to attend this Klave please do a great bunch of Guys and Gals. A reminder that the 2008 Klave has been under planning for the past five months by Jim and Myself. As your glowing review stated above, why would you miss it. The NLFT&F have been invited out to the last three inter-club Klaves, and a good time was had by all. A family friendly Klave, and we need your support on thisone if we are to continue planning these great events and including the club. More info here, hope to see you all there.. and I regret missing last years indeed. http://forum.nlft.org/index.php?showtopic=2427
