2007 Charter and Constitution

My comments on the Charter and Constitution are:

The libary collection is one of many valuable resorces, aside from the knowledge of it's members that the club retains ownership of. It would be safe to say that NLFT likely boasts one of the best collection of fly tying related publicatons in Alberta (if not the best) and there should be provisions created in the charter on how this very valuble assest will be protected, managed, and improved in the future.

TT :D

That is already in the Charter, in fact, it's the entire purpose for the document to ensure the ongoing commitment and growth of the club. :)

I refer you to Page 17 (yah, the very last page -- I know it's hard to read that far without falling asleep). This clause exists in the document, for the fact that the NLFTF was originated by members from that club, and hence, in this unlikely event it should be named sole beneficiary.

ARTICLE X CLUB DISOLUTION

To cover this unlikely event off, it has been agreed that:

i) Minimum club membership shall be maintained at twenty (20) members.

ii) Should membership fall below the minimum for a period of not less then six

months all remaining assets shall be transferred directly to “Edmonton Chapter

– Trout Unlimited Canada).
