However, while you're all together, can you give some thought to a January program? I need to get going on the Newsletter Refer to my post under Executive (oops there I got the AGM date wrong) Since the AGM is actually on the 17th nothing needed for that day. I need January 3rd, 10th, 24th and 31st programs. I'll do beginners tying on the 10th and 24th. If we're doing a Friday night thing before Dave and Jim, we need to announce that too, although I'm presuming it will be members only. There is lotsa stuff to be moved so if you can lend a hand, bring boxes, and backs. PS - Dave, what the heck did you do in that post above? vince Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 Guys Moving day was yesterday and we were short a bunch of hands and I mean a bunch of hands. The moving crew consisted of Brian and I. We did a lot of packing and we managed to move the two large wooden boxes over to the new place yesterday. There is still alot of stuff that has to be moved over and it has to be done quickly as our meeting is in a few days. We can't get in tomorrow as the Lions Centre is closed and Monday is out because its New Years so that leaves Tuesday as the only day left to move. Brian will post a time to meet on Tuesday and if we have a bunch of guys with some trucks or large SUV's the job can get done quickly. It has to be done on Tuesday so lets make sure we get it done. We should maybe have the 3rd as unacking and free tie day since there's little time to prepare. But that still leaves the 10th and 24th Volunteers to tie a fly or talk on a fishing related topic required. Let me know either here or by PM. vince Posted December 31, 2006 Share Posted December 31, 2006 Guys I just got off the phone with Brian to confirm the time for moving the rest of the stuff from the old place to the new. Meeting time is set for 3 pm on Tuesday at the Lions Centre. All of our stuff has to be moved that day and as the Lions Centre closes at 4:30 meeting at 3 (in our usual room) should give us enough time to move all of our stuff.
