Don Andersen
guys, Was on the Red Deer yesterday and its the first day I've never seen a herd of NLFT members. Where did ya' all go. I know there was a football thing on somewhere but that's no excuse. Last I heard neither Alberta team was involved. vince
Don I suspect the football game held everyone back. While I cheer for Alberta my roots are in B.C. so I for one, did watch and I'm darn glad that B.C. won. I bet you had a great day on the water. Don Andersen
Vince, I did have good day. Still, I was surprised that there were so few tracks in the snow. Looks like the rumors that the Red is dead may be unfounded. Don

What's this I heard that B.C. broke the Grey Cup too!? Let's charge them quadruple now for fishing licenses next year in Alberta, and no matter we'll get the cup back here soon enough anyways. http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_5424.aspxhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_Cup [ Google Links ] Edited November 21, 2006 by RangerBob
vince
Don I've heard various reports of late and each report seems to have a common theme and that is "where have all the fish gone?" Could be the fish or could be the fishermen but nonetheless I hear ya and glad you had a good day. I was taking a course at NAIT that started on Friday night and ended Sunday afternoon and I can tell you if not for the course you would have seen my tracks. Vince Yup all the waters are frozen up North, including Wabamun when we were out two weeks ago. I have Red Deer penciled in on my calendar for February next year to visit, as part of my rounds in Southern Alberta to start off the new season. K... back to the world of War Craft On Line now and virtual fishing in warm virtual places... with scary monsters. Oh right... I got some swap flies to tye also till thaw.
