Joe ,I think the LSR trip is either Sept 16 or Sept 23 week-end,not sure which one forsure though  <_< .I do know it isn't this coming long wk-end.

The NLFT&F weekend at LSR is the September 16th weekend... as discussed at last Exec meeting this past Monday. The NLFT LSR Klave has traditionally been held the third week in September, and you don't want to miss the fishing here Joe.

Although... unofficial mini-Klaves will likely occur thoughout the month too. ;)

Dido RB statement. Joe it can be one of the best weekends. So many fish that your arms get sore. You have to drink lots of Scotch & Five Alive :drinked::barf:::coffee:: that night to recouperate. Its a great time. Will be making it this yr for sure.

I will definitely try and make it this year. I don't want to miss out the good fishing like the one you had at Crowsnest. By the way.RB, I liked Cataract Creek so much that I will plan to stay a few days at Cataract next year before we head out to Mt.Kidd. We only camped there for a day, fishing was not as good as you did ,but my boys had a great time, not enough time to explore the rest of the creek.

Joe, Cat Creek is one of my all time favorite spots in the province... next to Racehorse Creek now. :D

As for flies to use on the LSR... start a new discussion and I'm sure you'll get lotsa idea. Also see the Grayling Fly Swap Results we had last year here for more proven patterns (I think you were in the swap too as I recall):

I seemed to recall at the Exec meeting on Monday.. we planned a Wednesday evening before the Klave to have a discussion on Flies for LSR and a demo night. Was that correct Dave? How's the September newsletter coming along?

I just had a heads up from Dave R. on the Wed meeting. Dave will not be able to make it out so He ask me to do his Demo of the Orange butt Evil Weevle & I will do my Bull trout pattern I used on Closing day Last yr.

We can also discuss other patterns that will work for Grayling & Bulls on the Little Smokey.

I hope to get out there this weekend for at least a day and want to try out a new system if works will explan also on Wed night.

Dennis, would you mind giving the recipie of the Bunny Bug before you do the demo? I tied some white bunny patterns for pike before, I might be able to tie a few of your Bull trout killer now before the klave.
