RangerBob
Presenters: Various Club Volunteers Comment: Since we have decided to forego the Intermediate Casting Seminar ( http://forum.nlft.org/index.php?showtopic=1659 ) due to lateness of the season and the difficulty in finding a free Saturday, we’ve decided to fill in with some ad hoc casting work at the last regular meeting of June. Bring your rod, reel and line to the meeting at the Lions and we’ll go out onto the field to the south and do some casting review and fault diagnosis. We may even discuss and demonstrate a few special casts, like the reach, curve, wiggle, steeple and parachute casts. RangerBob
Just a couple of notes on this. Due to the soccer games that will likely be occuring in the nearby fields, we will be holding the casting across the road in an open field there. Just meet up at the room, and we can migrate en masse there... or look for everyone waving a stick in the air.. and gather there. Oh yeah, because the Bow River is in flood stages right now.. Barry White whom is a certified FFF caster, and member, has stated he'll be out this event to lend a hand. See this post for a discussion on Barry, and getting some flies out to him to help him get back on his feet. Oh yeah, seen the new white truck to replace his old one... it's a vast improvement. http://forum.nlft.org/index.php?showtopic=...t=0entry12794
RangerBob
Due to unforseen circumstances... I will not be able to make this meeting. If you have any flies for Barry.. could you please pass them along to Pauline. Whom, I'm sure will accept them.. and I'll pick them up from her place... when now I'll have to go fix her computer next. Right now.. back to rebuilding a couple of mainframes. Later! Let me know what works for you - I work downtown and live on the south side. You can give me a call - 944-8857 (BEFORE 3 - p.m.) Pauline

DennisS
Pauline I will call you on the weekend. Any idea what you seem to be short of. Won't be going far getting the house ready to sell. Will try for one day this weekend . Moving out to Stoney Plain. Just a little closer to the fishing. Toying with the possibility of going out towards Swanhills for a day.
