Flywing
Minnows are #1 on the menu, I like patterns with big heavy eyes. Caught them on dragon flies and leaches too but put it on the bottom.

RangerBob
Joe, These seem to work... I even sold a dozen of these heavily weighted to someone recently who's going for Walleye in a lake too. http://flyangler.ca/forum/index.php?automo...=2&showentry=12 Pattern information is posted there, under comment #8. jjtopspin
Thanks, RB. Change of plans, did not go to Calling lake as it is still closed till May 18th. Went to Carson instead. Fishing was good, lots of 8-12" Rainbows getting them with "Guarrantie" and Rod Bovair's olive Nymph .

Yup.. not much af a Walleye guy myself normally.. so it's a blessing to catch them when I do. That one was my largest yet.. and uhm... perhaps like the fourth or sixth I've caught in my life. LOL! A Walleye, a Wally, and a Walleye. Nyuck.. nyuck.. nyuck. Edited May 19, 2006 by RangerBob
jjtopspin
Vince, I wish it's mine. It's a friend's new boat (Bayliner) he just bought it at the last Sportsman show . I got him hooked to fishing 3 or 4 years ago, not a fly fisherman yet. Joe
