Skipper
I’m going to shoot a few birds on Saturday. Usually I just breast them and maybe take a few saddle hackles. If anybody needs some feathers please let me know. I should have both hens and roosters.

Skipper
Sorry Richard, we’re full this trip. We’re going to Wessex Game Birds, just north of Calgary. I’ll keep you in mind for the next time, but it may not be until next fall. What kind of dogs have you got?
Scratch
As I recall they are Laprador Recliners?
DennisS
Nice one Scratch about peed my pants on that one. Dan Beaumont not in good shape I think she is turning over lots of old happy salad grung floating in the water and very slow. You could see the stuff popping up while you were fishing. (last night) Met Bill and Chelsie out there Tight Lines Always Dennis S.
RangerBob
GOTTA GET OUT TO BEAUUUUMMMMOOOONNNT!!!!!!!!! Dipper, dont' bother fishing that 'Pink Panther' looking fly that you so elegantly pinched off me at the last meeting... it won't work.. 2.5 to 4 feet under a Phil Rowley Approved Fish Pimp... whatsoever. Yeah, hockey game on tonight.. so I'll sit down and tye up some more of those flies that don't work.. and and try to sneak out there again sometime this weekend for the day. Could be fun to go cruise around the lake in the PT boat. Edited April 21, 2006 by RangerBob
RangerBob
Oh right, I forgot Dennis... Beaumont is totally unfishable... don't go out there. If you look up in one of them Spruce Trees' you might be able to find one of Dennis's Fish Pimps too. The water is the other way dude. albertabowhunter
2 black labs, and a Chessie/black lab cross. Loads of pheasants under their belts... I'll probable hit Pheasant tree pheasant farm this summer a couple of times just to keep the dogs up to speed. I had them out at the farm on the weekend, they put up 2 hungarian partridge and a 5 Ruffies. Also chased some deer at my moms uncles farm. later Richard
Skipper
I haven’t been out to Pheasant Tree for a couple of years. We started going to Wessex a couple of years ago and found the cover is better and there is a pond there where the dogs can cool off. DennisS
Right RB NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fish out there. Manage to keep them out of the trees last night. But nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fish out there. Sounds like the weather tomorrow going to be crappie I will likely do some tying of those flies that don't catch the fish that aren't out there. NoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fish out there just green pimps in trees Tight Lines Always Dennis S
Scratch
Spent some time at Beaumont today - dead. Looks like turnover is in full swing now - a few fish were pulled out here and there - but nothing consistent. She'll need a few more days for sure now. Looks like Muir on the first! Gravity Orange
I second that motion...nothing consistent. Probably because there are NOOOO fish out there. Except for the one that "your buddy" caught scratch
