Michael Dell
Gary, I might be able to do this if the dates work. I've never been to this lake before, so I am wondering if I can get my pontoon boat in or is it easier for a float tube? Michael
fishman
Not a problem with a pontoon boat, i use a pontoon float tube and have little problems getting in and out.

jjtopspin
Thanks. Is parking close to the lake if I have to carry the pontoon plus accessories? Joe
fishman
u can park very close to the lake, only about a minute walk down the hill to the lake.....very gradual hill..........if u r going to be at the lake this weekend let me know and i can meet u there or in whitecourt and show u the way....let me know
Dragon Troller
If you park where you are supposed to then the lake is about 150m away, If you park at the well (where your not supposed to but we did) the the lake is about 20m away. Take fishmans advice and do not launch at the dock down the hill, you'll be up to your neck in weeds if you do Launch by the beaverlodge. fishman
I have been parking right beside the berm at the end of the well head for 25 years, as long as u r close to the berm the well operators leave u alone.....and make sure u r not smoking there when the operator shows up.........thats a no brainer............The weather for Saturday is 11 degrees and 90 percent chance of rain, but Sunday looks great 13 degrees with periods of sun.........i think Sunday is the day for me...Michael Dell r u able to make it out
