So much for what happens at the Klave stays at the Klave... like how many boats some people left with, and how many they had when they came back. ;)

Some things just never change out in Wally World eh? Like a Bermuda Triangle out there. ;) Your  (secrets) are safe with me Wally.

Yeah, Scratch and I are also looking for all the photos from the members whom attended to post to this group we created on Flickr. We'll grab your pics from Epson and place them on the DVD we're working on.

A lot of guys actually quad up and do the hunt / fish at the same time up there... usually 4 day trips though - and no - you won't find ANYTHING within miles of camp.

Ranger Bob and I will ensure that no living thing larger than a Labrador Retreiver will be within earshot, or nose range. :)

All 546 images that are 'postable' are posted now. You can view a slideshow here:

It's all just a blur now after licking toads, barbies, gnomes, and the comsuming of mass quantities of Scotch and corn fritters. We'll have to do this one again!

Fade to red!

Lance, Wondering if you could be a bit more specific on how and where to upload Klave photos I took. I don,t have too many but they may as well be added.

Hank

You have to join Flickr first -- it's free, but Pro membership has it's advantages. Anyways, you then join the group and send your photos to it.

See also the Flickr Badge flash animation now on the Klave Website. Scratch, need to setup a group for NLFTF and possibly FlyAngler.Ca. So cool!

Another option is the Epson Photo share site it may not have all the options that Lance's choice has but it does give you 100mb free storage:

You can also create your own photo album to share with family and friends. Its free! Just join Epson PhotoCenter today.

Flickr - rocks! Also, FlyWing thinks every banner ad on the internet is spyware.. so pay no attention to that man crouched behind his firewall.

Oh yeah, Epson only allows you to share 'dinky' sized images.. and not full scale of the camera with your friends. Even webshots is better then that!

Epson.. schmepson! Meh!

When Epson can do even just one of these things for me below - I still wouldn't take a second look at it.. so old school it is.

The FlickR ScreenSaver rulez... I mean Epson has no chance. Nor does Google, or Microsoft. I'll bet your tune changes when M$hit buys out Yahoo, and Flickr though one day. So, get on the bandwagon already, and stop your whinin. :D

Wally,

100 MB... pish posh. With my Canon 20D that amounts to ONLY 13 RAW images.

Flickr gives you 20 MB per month x 12 months = 240 MB a year of free storage, for up to 200 images. And for a measly $24.95 US you can upload 2 GB per month. Lesse, 2 GB x 12 months = 24 GB a year. And that carrys forward each year!

In the time I've used it.. I have YET to break the 500 MB barrier per month - only 19% of bw used per month (best I've been able to make a dent in).

I now have over 102 photo sets (Full resolution) and about 4,038 images on-line to use whenever I want.. share easily.. annotate.. print... whatever. As opposed to searching endless archive DVDs and filling up my own hdisk. And... I can reference my photos from anywhere, at any time easily.

No, Epson just plain sucks! Where'd you get that URL from? A pack of photo paper or ink-cartridge you bought once - or a box of Cracker Jacks? ;)

FAQ: http://www-us.flickr.com/help.gne#34

-----------------

Free Account Limits

Top32. How many photos can I upload for free?

When you have a free Flickr account, you can upload 20MB worth of photos each calendar month. This is not a storage limit, but a bandwidth (or throughput) limit. At the end of each calendar month, your bandwidth allowance is reset to zero again.

If you make a mistake when you're uploading (for example uploading the wrong photo) and then delete that photo, it doesn't free up upload space. You are still using some of your bandwidth allowance, so deleting the photo and republishing the correct one still eats into your monthly total. Your upload percentage for the current month can be found on the upload photos page.

You might like to consider either taking photos at a lower resolution to start with, or resizing your photos to a more web-friendly size (like 300KB instead of 5MB), particularly if you know that most of your photos will only be viewed on screen.

Top33. I have a Free Account. Some of my photos aren't showing up. Why?

When you have a Free Account, Flickr limits the number of photos that are displayed for you.

If you have less than 200 photos in your photostream, we will display them all.

If you have more than 200 photos in the system, only the most recent 200 will be displayed.

Your photos are NOT removed from Flickr, only from the list of your photos. If you have blogged a photo and it no longer appears in your list, it will still appear on your blog, and the photo's Flickr page will still work just fine.

If you notice that some of your photos aren't showing up don't panic! You can just upload some fresh ones! Or upgrade to a Pro Account.

Note: We will eventually delete Free Accounts if the user becomes inactive for 90 consecutive days.

Pending Users

Another reason why your photos aren't showing up may be because your account is either marked as pending or bad. See here for more information.

Top34. I have a free trial Pro Account. What happens when the trial elapses?

Imagine you have uploaded 350 photos in a free trial Pro Account frenzy! Your Pro Account expires...now you (and other viewers of your photostream) will only see the most recent 200 photos you published, even though all 350 of those photos will remain on our servers. Your photo sets are treated the same, that is, nothing will be deleted. Free accounts will display up to three photo sets. If you save the URLs of your previously-uploaded (before 200) photos and your extra photosets, you will be able to have access to these by plugging in the URL into your browser.

Top35. Are my photos ever deleted?

No, your photos will not be deleted.

Still not convinced. Epson is easy to use and my ful size Photos Stay My photos. Can't be hacked or stolen on My DVD disks. ZERO spy ware. Subject closed, that's as verbose as I get for fear of sounding like a woman!

Paranoid like one I see too. Here's a Beta Product from Microsoft.. g'ahead.. take a chance.... :D Flickr may still say it's Beta.. but the label don't read M$hit.
