Doc Posted June 17, 2005 Share Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) Due to unforeseen circumstances, the kids from Calgary will be canceling their trip to Edmonton. The Foothills Alliance Church sincerely apologies for any inconvenience this has caused us and are still interested in a future trip if we are still interested. I would like to thank everyone who volunteered to help these kids out and am rather disappointed myself as this (in my mind) is what Muir Lake is all about. I've booked the day off and am thinking of heading there. I want to be back about dinner time, so am planning to be there around 10am to 4pm. If you want to float with me, let me know and I'll bring Chiquita. Otherwise I'll be testing out my Dad's old Zodiak. I'll ask at tonight's meeting too. It was a blast - 4 hours long, full of rapids, and good fishy spots - and in the end - the most unpleasant river crossing I've ever seen.
