vince Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 To the fellow fly fishers that I have fished with and To those that I have yet to fish with... Well, it finally happened...I missed last weeks meeting. It was, however, for good reason. This past week was full of graduation ceramonies and festivities as my youngest son Paul graduated from the U of A Medical School and is now a Medical Doctor. In addition to that he has been successful in obtaining his residency here at the U of A in the department of Plastic Surgery. His mom and I gave him....what else....a float tube, fins and fin booties for his graduation gift. What better way to relax than spending a day on the water. See you all at this weeks meeting Vince Quote

vince Posted June 17, 2005 Author Posted June 17, 2005 RangerBob, Dennis & Flyfish Thanks for the congrads you guys. Flyfish, I can tell you that they are full Doctors - they just have not completed their chosen specialty yet - another 4 years for my son followed by another year getting his Fellowship ( a specialty of his specialty) - you should see the amount he now has to pay for liability coverage. Anyway, thats beside the point. Dennis, congradulations on your daughters graduations. My daughter graduated a few years back with a BA and went back to get her Education degree and is now teaching in Brandon, Manitoba. Sure is cool to see the kids get on with their lives. Rangerbob, sorry I missed you last night - might see you the following week. Vince Quote

VinceSorry I missed the meeting, had every intention of going to.. but somehow I crashed and burned on the couch about 6 PM... woke up about 10 PM.. then went back to bed.
