RJL2 Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 Rod and I have switched evenings. June 8 is the Henry's Lake Renegade. If you are a stillwater angler this is a pattern you will want to try. Very simple to tie with two materials plus thread and hook. Hook: Mustad 9671 size 8 to 16. #12 and #14 most common. Thread: Red 6/0 or 8/0 Body: Peacock herl Hackle: Brown neck or saddle. This simple pattern has produced very well for me over the past two years in a number of different lakes, alpine and local. A number of different methods to present, all work equally well.
