Wednesday May 18h

RUB A DUB DUB :D

Yours truely will be demonstating a few techniques for applying dubbing.

I have a range of tools and a few different kinds of dubbing to show.

So come out and learn how to dub bodies ranging from skinny to spiked.

That is if you're not out fishing at Muir. ;)

Wednesday May 25th

Brian Hepperle will be going over basic fishing knots

and possibly rigging for indicator fishing.

Make sure to see his "swirl" knot for attaching fly to tippet

and his"nail-less" nail knot.

I won't have the June newsletter this week.

Wooley's been off on family matters and has nothing set yet.

Besides, June is likely to be a short month

with outdoor events taking priority.

I'll have it ready for June 1.

float which river and July what?

Good question Richard, I'm ASSuming myself that it's "The River" (N. Sackedmycrotch) that Brian and I discussed (like you) doing once before when we bought our PT boats

So, which River is it - EXACTLY then? More details for those who weren't there and aren't planning to attend the next meeting(s) until Fall?

Now, a more important question.. who is "Wooley"? And... you think the river (a.k.a. Firehole) will be fishable by July 20th?

I think all the Goldeye in the province have been blasted to the Hudsons Bay or Winnipeg by now.

Only 7 MORE days till http://flyanger.ca opens!

www.flyanger.ca? is that the web site for when you continuosly catch trees on your back cast instead of fish from you forward cast? Or for when you get a hole in your float tube or pt boat after driving 3 hours to get where you are? or how about when you forget to bring your rod, reel, or some other vital piece of equiptment required for a day of fishing?

The Rivre is indeed the North Scratchmyown.

The float is being organized by Dave Murray (aka Wooley)

No set date yet, but probably later in Julyl, after the runoff goes down.

The idea is to give those new to PT boats

a chance to try them out in less threatening water.

Probably no fishing, but according to Barry White last night,

There were goldeye rising even in the major flood.

They evolved with more or less regular events like this

and fish gotta eat.
