Sept 11 meeting: Silvia D'Amelio

Recommended Posts

For our first meeting of the fall we will have a short business meeting and then turn the floor over to Silvia D'Amelio, CEO of Trout Unlimited Canada, who will talk about and take questions on the rebranding of TUC to Freshwater Canada.  This is sure to be an important meeting and we encourage all who can to attend in person at Queen Mary Park Community Hall in Edmonton or over ZOOM.

Our meeting starts at 7:30 pm on Wednesday Sept 11 in person at QMP Hall (10844-117 Street NW, Edmonton). Our ZOOM meeting id is 668 142 7482, and the meeting password is 306090.  More information about joining ZOOM is available on our webpage at http://www.nlft.org/Zoom

Since Michael's post  we're also planning some time to share fishing information from the summer - what worked where, changes to the fishing spots you visited, gear/tackle updates etc. Also need everyon''s input on how best to use the revenues from out dinner/auction and from the bamboo rod raffle to supprt our aims and objectives. We've already made a decision as an executive to buy $750 worth of bobbers for the Kids Can Catch program as it had just about run out of them but will need your advice on further spending. ACA was very appreciative of our support and asked that we pass on its thanks to all members of NLFF.  Also what do you think about running a full-day winter seminar with an internationally-known angler, as we used to do a few years back, not at the hall but somewhere more comfortable?
