  1. Thanks to everyone who organized and donated to the dinner and silent auction that was held last night. I had a good time, and thought the meal was excellent. There were lots of interesting auction items. Kudos to Jim O'Neil and Rick Leblanc for donating their prizes back to the club. I know I would not have been so generous, if I had won.
  2. I have dug into my secret stash of macrame yarn and have put together a package for the silent auction. There is 4 feet of white, 2 feet of brown (which is good for hundreds of CFFs), and 6 inch pieces of 12 other colours. This package reflects not only my tying preferences (I use white and brown most frequently with each CFF using twice as much white in the wing as brown for the tail) and the scarcity of other colours in my stash. In addition to this package I am also offering a guided trip to cutthroat country for two, a box of flies that work, and some books.
