I would have really like to see this one - unfortunately, work has a way of getting in the way of everything, sometimes. Oh well, maybe I'll make it next week and I can get someone to fill me in on the salient points.

I grew up in Saskatchewan, so have fished mostly pike and walleye, with the occasional (fruitless) venture into the Cypress hills in search of trout. I learned a little bit of stream fishing while at school in Lethbridge, where we were within easy reach of the Crowsnest and Oldman rivers and tributaries. I'd still call myself a novice, though I definitely enjoyed it. I haven't had a whole lot of time for fishing since moving to Edmonton, though I've tried a few of the pothole lakes within easy reach. I don't tie, though I'd love to learn.

Yep, that was me. Hopefully, I can make it out next Wednesday. Might be working, but then again, maybe not.

I wandered out to the meeting tonight, and I figured I might as well join up on here as well. I've been fly fishing on and off for 6 or 7 years - though more seriously in the past 2 or 3. Being busy with work and such things, I haven't had much time to get out and explore around Edmonton, nor meet many people, but hopefully I can change both those things! Anyway, looking forward to getting out as much as possible, learning a lot and hopefully meeting some new people. Cheers, Justin
